This kind-hearted grandma called Maria just celebrated her 89th birthday in her Brazilian home. However, it was far but a quaint event.
It was a party that most people only get to imagine.
“The house is very busy!” Vitoria Abencoada, Maria’s daughter, told The Dodo. “She loves living with animals. She loves to cuddle with them.”
Therefore, it only made logical that all those puppies would have a party on Maria’s birthday. As the celebration began, the dogs joined Maria at the table. Of course, no celebration of a birthday would be complete without a birthday song.
Grandma Maria was radiant because she was surrounded by so much affection.
It was ideal:
“The dogs loved participating in Grandma’s party!” Abencoada said. “Here, they are treated as part of the family. They participate in everything.”
Grandma Maria has undoubtedly experienced her fair share of pleasures and celebrations over her many years on Earth. maybe too numerous to count.
But thanks to her love of animals — and their love for her — after 89 years, it just keeps getting better.
