Bring the cat into a quiet and calm room that is not exposed to noises.

Introduce your baby and cat in an environment where they both feel safe. Try placing one of the baby’s blankets or small bedding to a small quiet corner where the cat can easily approach it and investigate.

However, you need to make sure that when the baby is asleep, the area must be off-limits to the cat. Babies can’t turn over comfortably yet, and if the cat wants to cuddle with it, they might block their breathing.

It will also help in ensuring that the cat won’t pee around the baby’s sleeping corner.
