HUMMINGBIRDS CAN BE INCREDIBLY RARE IN SOME COUNTRIES AND NON-EXISTENT IN OTHERS. IF YOU ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO ENCOUNTER ONE, TAKE THE TIME TO WATCH IT AT WORK, IT IS A CAPTIVATING EXPERIENCE.
These beautiful birds do the job of bees as they feed from the nectar on many flowering plants, aiding in pollination.
With their wings flapping at a furious speed they appear to maneuver effortlessly from plant to plant.
If you are lucky enough to have hummingbirds in your country and or area, you can attract them to your home by turning sugar into sugar water, and placing it in your garden. Attracting them while beautiful to watch also aids the pollination of plants in your garden.
