But, alas, no such luck!Nobody, not even the mailman, would give her a friendly head pat.Even the unwanted attention of a solicitor would have been welcome at that point.Instead of waiting for someone to notice her, Lily figured out how to bring a BFF into her life on her own!
The astute pup began to notice that her family brought the trash cans out to the curb every Thursday night.The next day, Friday, a man in a truck would drive by and haul them away.As a result, Lily developed the habit of waiting in the yard for the garbage collector.
Naturally, David couldn’t resist Lily’s stunning appearance and friendly smile!She jumped up and down with delight at the sight of him, and he was delighted to reciprocate.The astute young lady even taught him to sit and give her treats on command.
