Found In A Trash Bag They Were Dehydrated And Malnourished! Where Were The Other Siblings, And Where Was Mom?

HEARING THEIR DESPERATE MEOWS FROM DOWN AN ALLEYWAY, SHE FOUND FOUR VERY THIRSTY VERY THIN KITTENS IN A GARBAGE BAG.

The good Samaritan in Los Angeles took the four kittens home to get them hydrated and give them a good meal.

She then got in touch with her local community to see if someone could take them in and give them the care they required.

A no-kill rescue group quickly stepped in to help. Saving One Life – San Diego a volunteer-run group knew they had to act immediately after they saw the painful images.

According to Brianne Youngberg, Director of California Operations multiple people volunteered to make the drive from Watts to Vista to pick up the struggling kittens.

Once the kittens were safely housed they were given all the care and medical attention they so desperately needed.

They were all severely dehydrated, and two were extremely malnourished, they required around the clock care.

Given the names Fath, Hope, Spirit, and Love they were soon back on all four paws, gaining weight, strength and therefore their kittenish energy.

One concern for Saving One Life was where was the Mom.

And worse of all, were there more kittens that needed saving?

THEN THEY HEARD GREAT NEWS!

Then they heard that animal control had picked up Mom and the remaining kittens!

Saving One Life immediately contacted the county shelter and made arrangements to pick up the rest of the feline family. Unfortunately, two of the kittens didn’t make it, but Mom and her remaining kitten were soon reunited with the others.

Mom was named Destiny, and the last kitten, a boy was named Miracle. As soon as they were both brought into the kitty room at the shelter the other four kittens soon recognized their scent.

As soon as the kittens were reintroduced to Destiny they all began clambering to start feeding. She was so happy to see her baby’s she began to give them all a good wash.

“Reunited and it feels so good. The kittens have their mommy and brother back and everyone is thrilled,” said the rescue.

“They aren’t adopted yet, but they are safe!!!!! They are indoors. They are healthy. And they are loved..”

Love got a little sick but she is back with her siblings now and all are blossoming after being reunited with their Mom.

“It was another massive effort working with multiple rescuers and our partners to save them.”

Thank you to everyone who made this beautiful rescue possible.
